Dental Crowns & Bridges
A crown is a custom-made cap that covers a weak, broken or root-treated tooth, restoring its shape, strength and natural appearance. A bridge uses crowns on the neighbouring teeth to fill the gap left by one or more missing teeth. We offer a full range of options — from temporary acrylic and economical metal crowns to highly aesthetic metal-ceramic (PFM), E-Max and zirconia crowns — so we can match your priorities for looks, strength and budget.
Children's teeth can also be protected with durable pre-formed pedo crowns. During your consultation we explain which material suits each tooth, since front teeth usually call for the most natural-looking options while back teeth are chosen for strength.
After-care
- While wearing a temporary crown, avoid sticky and very hard foods that could dislodge it.
- Clean carefully around the crown margin every day; for a bridge, clean underneath it as we show you.
- Avoid chewing ice or using your teeth as tools.
- If a crown feels loose or comes off, keep it and contact us promptly.
