Healthy gums are the foundation that holds your teeth in place. When gum disease has advanced beyond what cleaning alone can resolve, gingival surgery helps reduce deep pockets where bacteria collect, halt further bone loss and restore healthier gum tissue around the teeth. The same techniques can also reshape an uneven or excessive gum line for a more balanced smile.

Treating gum problems early protects you from the loose teeth and tooth loss that untreated disease eventually causes. We tailor the procedure to the stage of disease and your overall health, and the fee reflects the extent of treatment needed.

After-care
  1. Eat soft, cool foods for the first few days and avoid the treated area when chewing.
  2. Do not smoke, as it significantly slows gum healing.
  3. Use any prescribed mouth rinse or medication exactly as directed.
  4. Brush gently and keep the rest of your mouth clean; resume normal cleaning of the area as we advise.
  5. Contact us if you have persistent bleeding, swelling or pain.
